Deregulation and bank over reach (almost) killed our economy (rescued by Bush/Obama policy).

But if the New Deal gave us 70 years of prosperity then certainly lets double down. And there is no doubt we've been the worlds most successful economy since the New Deal was implemented. Coincidence?

Unfortunately, RW, it doesn't work that way. There is no free lunch. That 70 years of perceived prosperity came at the expense of future generations' standards of living.

That's the downside to living on borrowed money. Eventually, the fun stuff is over.
