AGW debate began in 1897, IIRC. First president to discuss the issue was Nixon.

As for Nixon, as I recall my youth... there was far more concerned about a looming ice age, than global warming..

National Academy of Science.. NASA.. Professor Stephen Scheider, who is now part of the IPCC (having made a conversion to the new "Zeigeist" of global warming..

And please stop using "Skeptical Science" and their "Crusher Crew" tactics as a reference. They have rendered themselves completely non-credible by their aggressive attempts to censor legitimate dissent on the AGW issue. Quoting them means nothing to me.
