Hi Land Shark; That's okay. What matters is that the people who run this country (and others) know how to find people who do understand science. And they've explained it to them.

Here's what's happened:

Japan pulled out of Kyoto.
Russia pulled out.
Canada pulled out.
China won't accept any limits (even though they're now the leading CO2 producer and still growing fast).
Same with India.

Now Doha ends with absolutely no new agreements.

Sorry. It's over. Only thing now is to watch the POS swirl around as it slowly gets sucked down the drain. I'm laughing.

P.S. A few months ago, Obama said that climate change is important, but he wouldn't do anything if it got in the way of American jobs. Let me translate that for you. Obama doesn't think CO2 is important.

Hey, if he thought he was saving the world he'd be taking a political position on it. He'd be talking it up among other nations. Clinton (uh, Hillary of course) would be using diplomacy to get other countries on board.

This isn't "news". It was already widely known (among scientists) that AGW was not a threat 4 years ago. That's why the Democrats didn't implement a carbon tax when they controlled the Executive, Senate and House. Now it's way too late; the evidence for the alarmist position continues to collapse and the political will is gone, gone, gone.

Don't you remember back when global warming was a big deal? Remember the concerts? Here, let me remind you. In 1992 Bush attended the Earth Summit in Rio. Did Obama attend the 2012 meeting? Did Hillary? Did anything get reported in the press? These are clues.

This is a list of speeches by politicians at the 2002 earth summit:
PM of United Kingdom, Chancellor of Germany, PM of New Zealand, Secretary General of the UN, Secretary of State of the US, President of France, PM of Canada, President of the European Commission.

Sorry. It's over. I'm reading alarmist blogs talking about Doha and laughing.
