I don't know what the die size of the MX will be when it moves to a true 0.25æ process, but on the optical shrink of IBM's 0.33æ process it is currently at 150mmý. Cyrix's next Socket 7 part will have a die size of 65mmý and the next integrated chip will be 90mmý on one of IBM's 0.25 processes.

I don't know about IDT's 0.35 process, but IBM, Intel, and AMD's are not really 0.35. They are more like 0.33, 0.28, and 0.30 respectively(drawn gate lengths), so direct comparisons aren't really possible.
