1) I think we have a few years until inflation really kicks in. Right now I have to go with ECRI's assertion that we are currently in a recession and dealing with the debt issue with reduced govn't spending and higher taxes will not help that any. 2) I think the gold market has been influenced more by speculation recently than by fundamentals. Maybe the gold market is getting back to fundamentals and seeing that inflation is still several years away. All just my speculation on course.
