Well, I'm not sure ECRI is right yet about the recession. It may take a year of economic figure revisions to finally see that we are, in fact, currently in a recession. Even if we are not in a recession, decreased government spending and higher taxes don't sound like things that accelerate inflation in the immediate future. I do think we will get massive inflation but most likely not until after 2015.
