NICK/vehicle loan companies: Nice buy point, smaycs4. NICK recap: Stock's been a good performer as auto sales have picked up over past few years: finance.yahoo.com ROE's okay: ycharts.com P/E remains low enough for a buy-hold ( imo): ycharts.com Regarding this business sector, I'm aware of a "pride/shame" factor in owning the stocks. The companies make loans to people who maybe are struggling financially and who maybe shouldn't be buying vehicles this way. Still, the companies provide a service that people want or need. I own shares of NICK & CACC. CRMT on my watch list. Apparently CPSS was the one to buy this year; I wasn't aware of it. finance.yahoo.com
