Wouldn't know where to start Ken. Obvious it worked before acting up.

I had an internal Dell wireless card going bad in a Dell laptop one time, finally just died. On eBay you can get 300mbps "N" USB adapters for around $8 delivered. (From US sellers) They have some 150mbps ones that barely stick out at all. Don't run down to the store and blow $50 on one.
:)

Search for "usb 300 wireless adapter" and sort by "Buy it Now" on price.

Might uninstall the driver, then uninstall the wireless hardware and shut down the computer. When it reboots, reload it again. Again, could be anything. There is a power saving feature that might be messing up in the driver of the adapter, might try turning it off.

Know anyone with an external wireless adapter you could borrow and try?
