But we already know that it is far too easy to obtain guns in America. We already know that it is far too difficult to keep guns out of the hands of those who should not have them. The problem in a nutshell is that the second sentence trumps the first sentence. As much as I dislike the NRA, that is the one thing that they say that is so. According the report from CBS that I posted earlier, those guns were registered to the shooter's mother--a kindergarten teacher who loved her students. I have no idea what she was doing with these guns. But her disturbed son most likely still would have had access to them even with strict gun control laws. Parents can hide their weapons, but their children almost always know where those hiding places are.
