I am keeping an eye on the OSIP situation; lost track of (and interest in) Avigen. Microcide is very interesting, met someone who works there the other day; I have to do more work on it, but under 10 sounds like a great deal. Are AEM and Stillwater oil diggers? Know zippo about those.

On the biotech side Ligand, MLNM and MEDI (the latter two if they drop, of course). Take a good look at the satellite companies, especially Loral. Not a short-term thing but I have not seen a more interesting, relatively low-risk, story. (relative to biotechs, semi-equips, networkers, ...)
