Hi GZ,

Not having luck with a methodology to share the charts. Let me try it in the form of a question.

If you take the s&p 500 chart from Jan 97 through now, and perform as you instructed on the BK thread, it looks good to me. Now, suppose I look at that high in Aug. of 97. Right after we had a siginficant drop to the high 800's. OK questions are: 1) how do I know the limits of that drop or put another way, how do I feel comfortable that things are still headed up? One answer is that the line from the low in april provided the bounce point for the drop in late Aug. (is this correct)
2)What about the peak and valley in the June time frame...did you use them? I guess that I am asking about the shorter term moves...are they meaningfull in your scheme?

Can You point me to a time frame where you became bearish due to the charts and bought puts, sold short ect.? This would help me to understand the system.

Let me begin with these questions, if you are willing. I really appreicate your time. TIA

Steve
