If you get a new computer with all USB 3 ports and you want to store your images on external hard drives, you need Acronis 2013. Even 2011 will not let you see the USB ports. Tech support said to get 2013 and when I did, it worked 100% perfect, full USB 3 support.

Lots of new notebooks are only coming with only USB 3 ports. Mine has 4.

On my other computer with 3 USB 2 ports and 1 USB 3 port, 2011 works fine, it's just computers with no USB 2 ports thats causing the problems.
