When I put the Acronis 2011 boot disc in the DVD and started the program, I could not see the USB 3 ports. And yet 2010, 2011 has USB 3 support according to their website.

So I called tech support and they told me to get 2013, so I didn't and problem solved.

With more and more computers abandoning USB 2 ports and only using USB 3, people running older versions of Acronis are going to have problems.
