People are getting tired of the same old response from gun enthusiasts who say

You did see the article on the Chinese man on the same day attack a school and injure 23?

And of course the previous school knifings in China over the past few years.

So what do you think? More of the same, as long as you still have your gun rights?

I know we can't stop criminals/crazies no matter what weapon we make illegal they will always find a way to commit mass murder. Bike chain lock, few gallons of gas and an office building with a stairwell and a fire alarm - instant mass killing - just chain the door, pull the alarm and light a match. What I know is the 2nd was designed to not only deter and potentially overthrow a tyrannical government but also for self defense - I can only try to defend myself and those around me. I know these tragedies are heartbreaking - but giving up on your responsibility to defend yourself and others is not an option. I simply do not have faith in a bunch of people hoping a gun free zone sign will protect them from bad people or believe the police will ever arrive on time.

Perhaps it's time to protect our most valuable things - our children - like we protect our money - with armed guards at public schools. If we can afford a janitor, psychologist and others on staff then we surely can afford some decent security beyond a useless sign.
