"we should restart the public conversation about gun control because..." Maybe we need to talk about gun violence control/prevention, cuz I don't see controlling guns as a possibility anymore. Even regulating gun shows is difficult... "Look for me in the parking lot." That means better mental health care, and maybe a reduction of the societal stresses breaking down mental health. Not just a lack of a system to deal with crazies, but preventing crazy. Maybe pay a living wage so people don't freak trying to decide between food and shelter for their kids. Maybe for-real Hunger Games. Let them work off their craziness against other crazies, give one a big prize.
