Esteban, it's not the policy that bothers me, it's that Ryan lied so blatantly about having called Datek. He had to lie about Datek to cover his lie about this policy being an industry standard. What will happen when you have a problem at WebStreet, and it is Ryan's fault? Instead of trying to fix the problem, he might claim it didn't actually happen, or try to blame someone else for the problem, or declare that the same thing happens at all brokers.
