Joss, unless your name is Park, forget about cheap Korean real estate, they won't sell it to you even if they were starving. They'd rather go into the game of Park selling to KIM at 95% of what he bought considering himself lucky, and then Kim turning back to Park and selling it a 90% of what he bought saying I could have lost 60% in the market, I am losing only 10% and so on. It may take 10 years, but then, has anyone sold real estate in Japan to "foreigners" at the peak or anywhere else? On the other hand, the Rockfellers dumped their center on Mistsubishi (I think they were the sacrificial goat) at the peak for Zell to buy it back at half price few years later (once again, if memory serves, knowing that some of this thread would be offended if memory failed an iota).
