Some of those driver sites are a front for making you download software and they don't even have the driver. I have seen them before, usually very hard to find drivers. Have to be really careful out there. Scammers are everywhere. I see my fair share of them when looking for a Palm Desktop that was compatible with Windows 7.

Since Palm was history, I was able to find a reliable site with a version of the Palm Desktop that works 100% on Windows 7.

Other sites I found, I would never dare to download it from them.

Been using Palm Desktop since the 90's. Don't really have a need for a smart phone, using a Palm Treo 700p, but I have piles of data in the desktop app. I can't sync the phone on Windows 7, but I can export and import the data for backup and updating my other computers.
