The best possible outcome at that school last week would have been for the principal to confront the lunatic with an assault weapon of her own. Or better yet, for a trained, armed guard to have done the same.

I fault the parents. Their kids should have been carrying. Those parents shirked their responsibilities and now 20 innocent kids are dead.
