I LIKE John Stossel... The article you put up might be a bit too generalized, but I've seen him do some great stuff. A few years ago he did a report on government insurance for homeowners on the coasts. Apparently he has a house on the beach himself. I believe he said his house was severely damaged by a storm but the government just picked up the tab and he just keeps getting the insurance and the government keeps covering him. The houses shouldn't be that close to the shoreline anyway and no SANE insurance company would cover him but the government just hands over tax payer money everytime they have a storm. I think that's CRAP... He also had a report about smoking. There were all these reports about how much smoking cost in healthcare, but he had statistics that showed that smoking actually SAVED the government TRILLIONS in retirement costs. We should be trying to GET people to smoke. It could solve our entitlement problems.
