Well stated. Todays story is inventory realignment to adjust for slow modem sales due to lack of a standard. Tomorrow's story will be increased sales 1- 56k modems, the standard chosen by MCI ! 2- Cable modems and networking gear for consumers and ISP's! (Comcast cable is working around the clock rewiring homes for cable modems in my area with a very aggressive implementation schedule.) 3- New products i.e. Increase speed is always the driving force. High Bandwith will be no exception and 3COM will provide the hardware. Looking forward is very positive in a lean inventory environment.
