For some time now I have been contemplating the impact of MS ceasing support for XP in 2014. XP is prevalent everywhere I look; the majority of my clients and almost all of their business contacts, doctors offices, retailers, etc. With a continuing uncertain economy most do not want to make the major investment required to upgrade to Win 7, much less Win 8. What percentage of MS operating systems are still using XP. Will MS extend the deadline, or will they ignore what will probably remain to be about 40% of their users in 2014.
