According to Gregoree, if humans ever prove conclusively that Sky Fairies do not exist, then humans will have no reason or incentive to treat one another well or to share compassion, love, and understanding with one another. He seems to believe that all good and decent behaviour is unnatural and obtains from a cowardly fear of being tortured forever by some supernatural beast. The fact that it seems that way to him, screeches loudly about his internal constitutional make-up. Pathetic. It is embarrassing to even encounter such a person.
