I had Thanksgiving Dinner with Hunter in the early 1990s. He's a super honest, down to Earth kind of guy and is not your typical politician. Back then he either didn't take a paycheck for his service or it was really low, can't remember now. He is very close to his son whom I also met. He asked me back then when I was still in the military what he thought needed to be done for military members. I told him I really like Newt Gingrich and whatever Newt says should be done, that is what you should support.
