Neeka, I use and update XP and a few times lately my MSSE icon indicated I'd lost protection. In MSEE virus and spyware definitions said: up-to-date

I updated MSSE manually anyway and the MSSE icon looked ok again

I wonder if that had anything to do with the Windows update?
Maybe I should have rebooted right after the Windows update?

It was a minor annoyance
