He can't "control" them?

It isn't some kind of monolith; unlike the Left, there exists a diversity of opinion within the R party. There is no reason he SHOULD be able to "control" them.

The real fault here is with Obama who, in the face of this "fiscal cliff", has chosen to proposed INCREASED spending, rather than make cuts. It is dumb. Not just ignorant, but dumb. After the trillion+ in new taxes, the net cuts would amount to roughly the same amount of money the country spends on WEDDINGS in a year. That's absurd.

Any idiot can see that the problem is about too much federal spending, too much reliance on taxpayer dollars, and a lack of personal responsibility.

A lot of people (including me) think we might as well just go over the cliff. The only thing that will end this is a severe depression in which many people suffer badly, but that's what it will take to bring them to the reality that being reliant on taxpayers is not a sensible way to live.

Let's roll.
