Yeah. Like the fact that if you conceal carry, you are 4 to 5 times more likely to die from a gunshot wound...

Which makes sense. There are, sadly a lot, of people who think carrying a weapon makes them invulnerable. So they will go into a situation that is best avoided. Case in point. George Zimmerman probably would not have gotten out of his vehicle if he had not had the gun. Not everyone has the presence of mind of the guy when Gabbv Giffords was shot. He had a gun on him. But decided the risk of hitting someone unintentionally was too high. It is good he hesitated, because he had initially targeted the wrong person.

Excuse me, CCW is only good for a few, rather limited situations. A good example is the police officers in NYC who shot that murderer outside of the Empire State Building. They wounded 9 bystanders. Now, multiply that by 10 or more. Because it is unlikely that most people who carry concealed are as well trained as those officers, both with their weapons and not to panic.

Can concealed carry save some people? Sure. But the cost of that is high.

Another example. When Reagan got shot. He was surrounded by heavily armed, well trained men who were on the alert for trouble. Didn't help him or the others, did it?
