What the founders did was legalize the possession of single-shot, muzzle loading weapons by the citizens. Try to imagine an Adam Lanza trying to shoot up an elementary school with such a gun! He'd get off one or at best, two shots before the janitor or a teacher beat the crap out of him.

I can find no provision in our constitution to allow for automatic, assumed updating to keep up with technology.

All we need is the right Supreme Court.
