I say make ownership of large capacity magazines subject to an immediate automatic warrant search followed by forfeiture of all firearms and ammunition, plus a large fine and/or jail time. Offer rewards for information leading to the arrest of large capacity magazine owners, funded by the fines of those caught.

I'd like to see the magazines limited to six, not ten, rounds. Over time, I think that would be VERY effective.
