If they had just let the banks and car companies fail the 1930's would have looked GOOD compared to what we would have today.

Unemployment would be 50% minimum.

Pensions would be worthless.

The entire world would be like Germany when it took a wheelbarrow full of marks to buy a loaf of bread.
