"I wonder what moral brave gregor-ee pulls out of this wondrous tale." He is a mindless little 'helper'. His whole life is undoubtedly a series of mindless quotes from primitive tribal mythology. Apparently, his mythic tales are better than thousands of others because they were good enough for his parents. He believes that if he can suspend thought and rationality for a few more years, it will magically buy him immortality--something he would kill for...just as his kind have always done.
