Good ideas, Ron. Right now I am running Chkdsk /p/r to see if that helps. I am able to get into the C:drive through the reinstallation disk, but a little while ago C was not able to give me anything through a DIR command, which is unsettling. What I want to do is get the C:drive to copy onto a large USB if it will and I will find what I want later off the USB.
