That "how to" made it seem like a breeze. Problem is, I don't even have that many cables on hand. I'm about at the stage to forget it.
Judy gave me a great idea about using my laptop for the DVDs. I went over to YouTube and watched a great video on how that works. I just need to go to Radio Shack tomorrow and get the HDMI cable. It looks like I'll need to unplug the HDMI cable from my Comcast box to the TV and plug in the new HDMI cable from my laptop whenever I want to view a DVD. While this is a minor inconvenience, it's easily done and all of it is well within reach without even having to pull the TV away from the wall.

I'll follow up here for anyone who may be interested after I get the new cable tomorrow.
