I wish I was a long term investor in Intel. From 1981 would be nice. When IBM decided to go with Intel 8088 processor and bought 20% of Intel stock.

The last 15 years was an era of microprocessors/microcomputers, next 10 to 15 years most likely will be an era of High bandwidth communications. The question though is how to select the "Intel" of communications rather then "AMD" or "Motorola".
