DOW and VIX are now on monthly sell signals as the DOW takes out the August close around 13,090. It will be very difficult for the DOW to get above 13,413 next month to head back to a buy signal. The range from 1350 to 1450 on the S & P looks like it will stay intact for awhile longer.
