*AV*--Whoops bigtime. Fiber Optic cable will not be available for a couple of months. Beleive it or not, our quaint city was actually a test site for Fiber optic cable by TCI and US WEST. Both did the pilot installation, they worked and the rest is history. However, I live on the wrong side of the streets (No snappy comebacks). Literally the wrong side of the street. It is that close. I live on the other side of a major street where the cable runs but does not run under this street into my neighborhood. Funny thing is that on this side of the street are 4 of the top 5 residential neighborhoods in terms of housing prices.

3 MB a minute or a second??? I know from personal experience that I get, at best 3.6K per second off a good download site. That just under 0.25 MB per minute. I had no idea that these speeds were attainable.

You could almost bet the farm on that. AMAT will drive the sector but it doesn't mean some individual stocks could possibly act out of character.

For StevieBoi: 3COM is COMMING back down now....end of the session profit taking...looking to re-enter at sub $33 levels.

Sorry about missing this one. How did it turn out for you. I haven't taken the time to check on this. I hope it was profitable (seriously)

For Patrick: Cirrus Logic product news? During COMDEX? What a coincidence! And a lot of good it did them!!! I like CRUS at these prices right now and did put them into the portfolio to the tune of 2000 shares.
