The digital camera will definitely replace the traditional camera.

Why do you think so? People like prints of pictures, and it's expensive to print color. Printer manufacturers have done wonders with advancing printing technology, particularly Epson with the 1440 x 720 bpi resolution, but the best printed result requires special paper (read: expensive). Digital cameras are gaining in popularity, but for normal general use, a conventional auto-focus camera is cheaper to run all the way around, AND the quality is superior.
