(Example: taxol goes of patent protection but DepoTaxol gets patent protection) ......let's get psychoananlytical for a second--look what they picked for the first 3 drugs--chemicals already in use for: 1. cancer 2. anti-biotic 3. analgesic get it--these are very common types of compounds a doc would require to treat a patient although they are targeting small disease niches. how can the fda or an hmo say no to these important compounds? these diseases need better medication--that being said--of course there could always be a surprise for us if their research has statistical errors, someone screwed up on some aspect of the report, etc which could cause a short term sell-off. but it appears that if they can get approval for 2/3 of these they are on their way. it makes more financial sense to invest in bios that have well proven prouducts than the dream juice--look what happens to the entremeds and gerons when the science is a wing and a prayer. good luck
