I think it may be the only way we get substantial spending cuts.
That is a must do thing.
It may a be a helluva ride, but the cuts have to be made somehow. I may not agree with some cuts, but that is not as important as making substantial cuts in spending.

Any solution…that is a real solution…will be painful. The thrill and joy of unlimited borrowing and spending has to end. Better next Tuesday than later or never

Borrowing money to pay interest and then to buy more is not the road out of financial insolvency, yet that is the road we are on.
