They send out emails asking people to pray for their kids before games or tests at school..


And I guess if they didn't win/get high grade, it was because someone didn't pray hard enough.

I think the majority of religious leaders tend to discourage that kind of thinking, at least the more "spiritual" ones, but people are as people are.

So sports are a contest of wills between two sides, who can pray the most.
JOhnny, you didn't get an "A", now go to your room and pray some more so you'll do better next time.
