what will this do to supply? multiply it by 3 times? 3.5 times? pweb.aix.or.jp 64 mb dram is now $18. that means the effective upper limit on 16 mb dram is about $4.00. any bounce in 16 mb pricing, mu's bread and butter, is capped at $4.00. they had a $6.50 asp last q and their profit was $0.33. the trend is down and as more people switch to 64 mb dram it will become even cheaper. this gets uglier and uglier. when will the masses see the obvious? dram is now selling at 55% off last q's asp. this is ugly...
