Was once going to go into the steel drum bizness when 16 but found out (and parents found out later too) it took 50-75hrs of hammering beating out the 50gal drum plus lots & lots of of torching in between so turned out to be an idea that did not lend itself well to mass production.

So then started a successful windchime business later using cut, polished & tuned magnesium silica aluminum alloy tubing that was used in B-52 jet superstructure, by the time i was 17 was ordering 1000's of feet of the stuff from Alcoa and was a busy little elf.

These Hang drums are cool
