Your Post illustrates these Times, shaping capital...the question to be answered is Does this trend have the legs to sustain itself? To sustain itself, the infrastructure owners and value added contributors, must do things they had previously been unwilling to do;innovate in ways such as take the weight out of the rail car moving the oil, one of the biggest inefficiencies in the present system is that these locomotives are asked to pull too much weight..... filament wound tanker cars could be a revolution in sustaining competitive advantage for rail...failing this, the trend will be fleeting. I remain committed to Hexagon for the contest......even though the necessary steps will take more time, the expertise to accomplish this resides at Lincoln Composites, a Hexagon composites company.
