How would one know whether there are angels or demons or not ,or how many there might be?
Once again, sounds to me like you're not very sure yourself, have you seen any lately ? But you are very sure that you are going to that "other immaterial" dimension & live forever with these angels? Do you see, or ever have seen or spoken to an Angel? Do you know many were present at the moment of "Creation Event" ? Does anyone really care?
Then as William Lane Craig pointed out, there is no good & evil really for all those Canaanite children who by God's orders were slaughtered in the Bible, for they were going to this "better" immaterial place, correct? So their deaths was a "good" thing, correct?
Also that evil that was slavery was justified as really a "goodness" bestowed on the slaves imparted so graciously by a self styled morally superior race that held itself in possession of this magic theology of salvation that guranteed their ascent into heaven? So there is no Evil or Good deed if by the outcome leads or does not lead to this other world of heavenly immateriality and so its decided this is morally justified ethical behavior?
Now ask yourself why & how does this differ in any way some 10,000-3000yrs later from any other pagan predecessor thats found worshipping the same similar supreme diety as Zeus, Osirus, Horus, Azura Mazda, Set, Baal, Allah , Astarte or Azzandara? And practiced the exact same moral & ethical standard employing exactly the same rationale based on the reward in the afterlife & moral superiority ?
The simiarities are astounding & resoundingly the same right up to the last century almost note for note, so this simple logic not easy enough for you to respond coherently? More Hitler & Stalin perhaps? |
