chirodoc, the athm base price is in the range of $18 - $19. in that price range it becomes a compulsory buy and hold for at least a year. i am not at all convinced we will ever see it that low again. but, i have not ruled it or anything else out in this market. i am not big-time enough to get any part of an ipo. it is a club. if they ever let me in for any issue, i would be very spicious. a while back, i tried out the pointcast software, various versions of it, and decided that although it was quite impressive, it also was intrusive (sucked up resources). perhaps some of my i-net crashes were caused by it. i would never pay for it, so it must use advertising to generate funds. all those ads can become quite a pain and there are only so many of those $ available on the net. ray
