Ya, there's an idea. Tax campaign contributions!! Now why didn't those politicians think of that as a asource of income?

Nope, debt in the long term will be much much more harmful to our well being than Sandy - not even in the same ballpark! The debt is not up to something like 120,000 per person. Think of the drain per individual just to service that debt. The FEMA bill for Sandy is tiny and could be paid tomorrow by most tax payers without hardly a notice. You have no idea of what the debt really means if you try to compare it to Sandy.
