The trouble with bread, especially white bread, is that it puts on the pounds.

Real white bread made with sourdough starter is doubly delicious, and unfortunately off my diet list. I made some over Christmas for the family and it was all gone that evening. This is why I focus on the more basic grains.

Good recipies seem to taste even better if some one else can make them too -g-

The oakcakes are good for diets though. Good substitutes for anything with wheat in them.
