I am moving to Corvalis Oregon next year. My daughter Picked it out. Small clean university town between Eugene and Portland. Great weather and very close to the ocean. Very liberal and low crime. My daughter and her partner are moving up there from Eugene to continue their university studies I am buying a condo in the spring. We originally were going to do that in Eugene, but too close to the freeway, and too much crime and sprawl. I like to fish and it is only 50 miles to Newport and great charter boat fishing and crabbing. The rest of the time I intend to split between Las Vegas and teh big Island of Hawaii.
