ISDN for $60 a month? my notes are buried somewhere in one of these stacks but that means you only use it less than 100 hours a month for both channels combined.

Ain't happenin' here. The projected usage on my cable modem should exceed 300 hours a month just for market access, which is the eventual intended use. That is saying 7 hours a day, 5 days a week, 4.33 weeks a month, using both channels. Then you have to presume I will use it for internet access off hours and there will be times I do not shut down at the end of the day because I'm out or away. So another 100 hours (50 per channel) puts me in the unlimited access class at $239 a month.

From what I've seen it's excellent for market access---if you intend to trade markets out of the house it beats everything else. This year alone I've had FM, Satellite, and BMI cable. Nothing comes close, and at $39 it's not only better but significantly less expensive than using the data providers equipment.

I read where Zenith is coming out with a hybrid. It is a cable modem for inbound and a telephone modem for outbound. Sounds odd but I imagine there must be some reason for it.
