You missed the point - an AR15 can and is used for hunting and is easily converted to a home defense gun by a $20 magazine swap. Not many people can hunt with a handgun. a) people who buy an AR15 are quite likely to own a collection of guns...b) a handgun is arguably not an ideal gun for home defense to begin with and therefore an AR15 is even less ideal...c) there are certainly better hunting weapons than an AR15... Your arguments strain to justify owning one of these guns...typically they are little more than a testosterone trophy...one that has caused enough human tragedy already... Al
